This week, Germany's industrial production, growth (GDP), and CPI inflation figures will be closely monitored in the Eurozone. In particular, industrial production and inflation data in Germany could create volatility for the euro. On the U.S. side, figures such as retail sales, unemployment claims, and Michigan Inflation Expectations/Sentiment could determine the direction of the dollar. Strong data from the U.S. could support the dollar; weak European data could pressure the euro, but U.S. data that falls below expectations could open up upward space for EURUSD at 3410.
